Pirelli Cinturato™ GRAVEL RC-X tyre, 40-622, TechWALL X, 60 tpi, SpeedGRIP, Black. It uses the same tread pattern as the Cinturato Gravel RC. The RC X addresses the demands of racing on rougher gravel: small central knobs provide speed on the flats, while taller, more pronounced shoulder knobs deliver cornering stability. The new tubeless TechWALL X construction uses reinforced, durable 60 tpi fabric extending beyond the tread edge for added sidewall protection, alongside the existing bead-to-bead layer. Designed for demanding gravel courses, the SpeedGRIP compound combines low rolling resistance on and off road with tear resistance and wet grip. Its gravel-specific formulation draws on rally technology, where speed on asphalt and traction on gravel and dirt are essential. High-strength woven nylon TechWALL X fabric covers the casing from bead to bead for added cut and puncture protection. A multi-layer 60 tpi casing has extended sidewall overlap. The TLR tubeless-ready folding aramid bead is optimised for wider rims and lower tyre pressures.
